Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale data center networks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching and optical transport.
• Structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure knowledge.
• Data center design, construction, startup/commissioning processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on large data center projects.
• Ability to drive strategy, problems solving and execution.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design engineering and implementation of large-scale data center networks across multiple geographic locations
• Research, develop & deploy numerous technologies and network topologies to evolve and scale data centers
• Initiate and lead strategic initiatives driving efficiency, innovation, and standardization of data centers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to develop new features
• Influence future iterations of data center and network designs for seamless integration
• Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for network infrastructure
• Partner with software teams to develop tooling to provision, manage, monitor and troubleshoot networks
• Create network design packages for deployment teams with data center/building teams
• Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors
• Develop automation to drive consistency and efficiency in design, deployment, and operations
• Perform site visits with construction, design architects, and contractors to validate cabling
• Maintain technical reference, process, and training documentation
• Travel 25% to 40% based on project demand
