Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Services (ENS) team is seeking a Network Engineer for Deployment & Support. You will deploy and manage data center networks, coordinate with partners, and support new hardware/software integrations globally.

Responsibilities include 24x7 on-call coverage, maintenance windows, and documenting assets and configurations. Requires 6+ years in large-scale networks and a multi-vendor background. Travel 10–30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 6+ years deploying and operating large-scale networks.
• Experience configuring routing/switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
• Knowledge of TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS; IPv4/IPv6 ownership.
• Experience in multi-vendor networking environments.
• Understanding of cabling and fiber infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in global teams with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage data center network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with partners and vendors for regional network reliability.
• Schedule and perform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, decommissions.
• Create deployment packages and document assets and as-built details.
• Implement global best practices and design scalable network solutions.
• Support development and integration of new hardware/software platforms.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for network support.
• Travel 10-30% based on project needs.
