Job summary

Meta's Edge & Network Service (ENS) team is seeking a Network Engineer to deploy and support production networks across Meta's datacenters, backbone, optical and CDN platforms. You will collaborate with partner teams, manage deployments and documentation, and help drive reliable, scalable networking solutions globally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks
• Experience with BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP
• TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS; IPv4/IPv6 knowledge
• Experience in multi-vendor environments with hands-on equipment
• Knowledge of physical infrastructure design incl. cabling & fiber
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
• Experience in global teams and self-directed work
• Bachelor's degree (CS/CE or equivalent) completed before joining Meta

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage data center network infrastructure
• Collaborate with partner teams and vendors for reliability of regional network
• Schedule and perform maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning
• Create deployment packages and maintain documentation and asset DB
• Establish global best practices and design scalable solutions
• Support development, testing, and integration of new hardware/software
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
• Travel up to 30% depending on projects
