Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Customs Brokerage Consultant to guide clients through complex import regulations and ensure compliant, cost-efficient shipments to the USA. You will work on classification, valuation, and FTZ considerations, build client relationships, and support new sales opportunities while staying current on US regulations and industry best practices.

This role requires 5+ years of consultative experience in customs brokerage, strong communication skills, and bilingual ability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of consultative experience in Customs Brokerage.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. import laws, HTS, valuation, origin, FTZ; licensed broker preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Customs Consulting for all import shipments.
• Advise on compliance and best practices; minimize costs and delays.
• Classify goods under tariff codes and advise on valuation.
• Build relationships with clients and government agencies.
• Identify and mitigate import risks and delays.
