HIMSS is seeking a seasoned accounting leader to direct the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely closes and compliant financial reporting. You will establish and enforce policies, manage external audits, and guide global accounting activities across entities.

The role requires thorough knowledge of GAAP, strong leadership, and the ability to optimize systems and processes. Hybrid work and extensive healthcare-sector experience are valued assets.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• CPA preferred; MS or MBA preferred.
• At least ten years of accounting experience, including managing remote teams and international operations.

Mansioni

• Direct the Accounting Department through monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and deliver reconciled financials.
• Develop and enforce financial policies to safeguard assets.
• Oversee accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications with daily oversight by the Assistant Controller.
