Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead global compensation design, execution, and evolution within the Total Rewards team. You will scale compensation frameworks, champion pay transparency, and align pay with business goals while leveraging Workday Advanced Compensation and AI-driven tooling.

As a senior contributor, you will partner with executives and HR leadership to map job architectures, market benchmarks, and equity programs for a highly distributed

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS.
• 3+ years in a lead advisory capacity.
• Hands-on configuration in Workday Advanced Compensation.
• Global knowledge of compensation structures and international markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies.
• Champion global pay transparency readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee annual global merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles in Workday.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with senior leaders.
• Lead design of global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise business partners on compensation decisions, organization design, and talent retention.
• Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation in M&A.
