Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Senior Director of Global Compensation to lead the design, execution, and evolution of our global compensation framework, partnering with senior leaders across Finance, HR, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to align market competitiveness with business strategy. The role challenges the status quo and drives data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MS or MBA preferred in a quantitative field.
• 10+ years leading compensation programs in large global technology organizations.
• Experience integrating AI and advanced analytics into compensation design, modeling, and reporting.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of market trends and leading global benchmark survey methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and evolution of Veeam’s global compensation framework.
• Advise senior stakeholders on compensation strategy across the company.
• Develop and implement competitive compensation practices including salary structures, incentives, and equity programs.
• Administer annual salary reviews, incentives, equity refreshes, and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and federal/state/global regulations, and lead readiness for pay transparency directives.
• Model costs with AI and analytics; guide how the team uses these tools.
• Lead compensation workstreams during mergers and acquisitions.
