Job summary

Block is seeking a Compensation Strategy & Program Lead to architect scalable, AI-driven compensation workflows in a global operating model. You’ll own major program pillars, shape equity and salary frameworks, and drive self-service governance.

As part of a lean cohort, you will influence compensation philosophy, automation efforts, and data-driven tooling while partnering with People, Finance, and Legal to deliver cohesive programs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of proven experience designing, iterating, and scaling enterprise compensation programs end-to-end.
• High independence with cross-functional collaboration to align across teams.
• Systems, automation, and AI-first mindset to redesign policies and tooling.
• Strong quantitative modeling and ability to work with data/ops teams.

Responsibilities

• Own & deliver core program portfolios including focal cycles and equity architecture.
• Collaborate within the Program Lead cohort for global alignment and unified delivery.
• Build for scalability and self-service via automated workflows and AI tools.
• Establish policy as code and governance to empower managers in pay decisions.
• Advise senior leadership on talent positioning and pay equity.
