Job summary

Rhythm is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to lead the strategy, design, and global administration of compensation programs. You will partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leadership to drive market benchmarking, salary structuring, annual planning, incentives, and equity administration.

Based in Boston with a hybrid work model, this role shapes pay equity, regulatory compliance, and scalable processes for a rapidly growing global organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive total rewards experience with at least 3 years focused on Compensation.
• Experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Experience managing global compensation programs preferred.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft skills required.
• Experience with systems such as ADP, Etrade, and Pave preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global benchmarking efforts and analyze compensation practices to support salary structures, hiring decisions, and annual planning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on job evaluations, leveling, market matching, and offer development.
• Support development and maintenance of global salary structures and compensation frameworks.
• Develop and present communications, training content, and manager resources on compensation philosophy and pay transparency.
• Manage annual compensation cycle preparation and execution, including merit increases, promotions, bonus planning, equity grants, and budget administration.
• Manage administration and communications related to the Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) program.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international compensation-related regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends, market data, and global pay transparency regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate workflows, and enhance data integrity across programs.
