Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a U.S.-based Senior Leader for the Vice President, Global Compensation role. This executive will own worldwide broad-based compensation strategy, architecture, and governance, including U.S.

delivery, and will align business and talent strategy with global job architecture and salary structures. The role requires coordinating with Executive & Equity Compensation, Global Benefits, Finance, Legal, Tax, Payroll, Stock Administration, People Analytics, Talent, and Employee

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive compensation or Total Rewards leadership.
• Broad-based depth in compensation philosophy, job architecture, market pricing, salary structures, geographic pay, and governance.
• Business and financial judgment to model cost, workforce, equity, and tradeoffs with Finance.
• Fairness and transparency in pay-setting, equity analytics, and legal/privacy considerations.
• Data and technology fluency with compensation data, analytics, and HR systems.
• Experience with responsible AI practices in compensation-related work.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degrees or certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Define global compensation strategy and governance across US and international markets.
• Architect and manage job architecture, salary ranges, and market-data protocols.
• Lead annual compensation programs including base pay and incentives; coordinate with Exec, Finance, Legal, Tax, and HR.
• Drive pay-equity analytics, transparency initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with other leaders to align compensation with talent and business strategy.
