Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to design and evolve our global pay programs. You will lead cash, bonus, and equity strategies, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance across markets, including EU directives and US laws.

You will leverage Workday Advanced Compensation, model complex pay structures, and partner with executives to align compensation with business strategy while driving a world-class total rewards function.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS
Workday Advanced Compensation configuration experience
Global compensation structures and regulatory environments
Master-level compensation modeling, data analysis, and forecasting
Ability to influence, consult with, and present to senior leaders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/finance/HR

Responsibilities

Develop and lead global cash, bonus, and equity strategies aligned with business goals
Champion global pay transparency compliance including EU and US laws
Oversee global merit, promotion, and equity cycles in Workday
Support executive compensation design and equity modeling for new hires
Design and evolve global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures
Advise senior leaders on compensation decisions and talent retention
Drive due diligence and post-merger integration for compensation in M&A
