Job summary

Capital Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a Compensation Senior Analyst to join our Global Compensation Team within Human Resources. You will help develop, implement, and support compensation programs for client groups across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Leveraging strong analytical and critical thinking, you will advise on base pay, bonuses, and variable pay, conduct market studies and job analyses, and collaborate with compensation colleagues, HR generalists, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of compensation experience
• Broad client coverage support to other compensation associates or may manage a business client group relationship
• Experience with cyclical compensation work (market study, survey analysis, annual bonus programs, etc.). Workday experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing and providing recommendations on various standard and exception-based compensation recommendations/actions (e.g., promotions, offers, transfers, etc.)
• Contribute to and/or lead the development of compensation educational materials, communications, process documentation, and process improvements
• Serve as a practice leader and keeps abreast of external compensation trends
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve how work gets done
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with and analyzing large datasets
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned

• As a Compensation Sr. Analyst, you will contribute to Capital Group’s Global Compensation Team within Human Resources, supporting work that advances the people dimension of our business strategy.
• In partnership with compensation colleagues, HR generalists, and business leaders, you will help develop, implement, and support global compensation programs for client groups across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• You will use strong analytical and critical thinking skills to advise on compensation recommendations, bonus and variable pay plans, market studies, and job analyses.
