Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is seeking a Director, Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) for Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) in California.

This leader partners with the Head of GCDO and LT to drive strategic alignment, workforce planning, and continuous improvement across a global clinical development operations portfolio. The role oversees multi-year headcount and resource planning, data stewardship for capacity models and budgets, and post-deal integration for BD initiatives

Qualifications

• Extensive progressive experience in biopharmaceuticals or life sciences.
• Experience operating in strategic business operations or PMO leadership with exec partners.
• Experience leading workforce planning, capacity modeling, and budget forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to Head of GCDO and the GCDO Leadership Team.
• Lead the operational rhythm: agendas, LT meetings, offsites, action-tracking and execution.
• Align GCDO priorities with enterprise R&D strategy and portfolio milestones.
• Represent GCDO in key R&D governance forums and cross-functional forums.
• Oversee multi-year workforce planning and data stewardship for resource planning.
• Drive financial stewardship with OpEx, headcount, forecasting and variance reporting.
