Job summary

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Business Strategy & Operations (BS&O) for the Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO). This role partners with the Head of GCDO to drive strategic alignment, governance, workforce planning, and budget stewardship across the global clinical development organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive biopharma or life sciences experience with drug development exposure.
• Experience partnering with executive leaders (VP/SVP) in strategy/ops.
• Proven ability to lead workforce planning, capacity modeling, and budgeting.
• Experience in due diligence and post-deal integration for BD/M&A.
• Strong presentation and executive-level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief of Staff to Head of GCDO and lead operational governance.
• Align GCDO priorities with enterprise R&D strategy and milestones.
• Lead multi-year workforce planning and data stewardship for capacity.
• Partner on budget management, monthly accruals, and forecasting.
• Lead due diligence, integration, and post-deal functional onboarding.
• Drive OKRs, KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement.
