Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in administrative or office-based roles.
• Must be able to proficiently speak, read and write English.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review manifests, bills of lading and air waybill to determine work procedures for releasing cargo.
• Notify consignee or representative concerning arrival dates of shipment, customs clearance requirements and tonnage shipment.
• Make cash transactions, collect payments from customers for freight prior to release.
• Prepare invoices for charges, airlines clients and management regarding freight.
• Ensure all local airport, TSA, CBP and FAA rules are followed.
