Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a high-energy Global Product Line Manager for Cable Backplane Systems in Austin, TX. You will own the P&L for the OverPass cable assembly portfolio, grow revenue, and drive development in new markets while working with the global sales team to identify opportunities worldwide.

The role requires coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams, and traveling 20–40% to customer sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; MBA/MS preferred.
• 2+ years of product management and business development experience.
• 3+ years in interconnect industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute strategy to launch and grow the product line, including roadmaps and go-to-market plans.
• Drive new business in new markets and with existing customers.
• Collaborate with global sales, field engineering and marketing to create tools and support material.
• Lead product training and sales promotions to generate design wins.
• Understand industry applications and map future trends into a product plan.
• Analyze competitors and develop pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality to support growth and customer satisfaction.
• Forecast bookings and revenues, perform ROI analysis, and manage lifecycle and margins.
