Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Manager, Billing Assurance to lead a distributed team across APAC and EMEA, maturing global controls and risk management for revenue. You will identify underbilling and overbilling, drive remediation, and present forward-looking risk views to senior leaders.

This role requires expertise in order-to-cash, billing operations and financial controls, with the ability to influence across functions and partner with analytics teams.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in billing assurance, revenue assurance, finance operations, controls, audit, revenue operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash, billing operations, financial controls or contract-driven revenue environments.
• Track record of identifying revenue risk or control weaknesses and converting findings into sustained action.
• Experience leading distributed teams and raising capability, consistency and accountability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and secure action across organisational boundaries.
• Data and AI literacy with the ability to sponsor analytics as a business owner.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a distributed Billing Assurance team across APAC and EMEA.
• Build a consistent global operating model for assurance intake, prioritisation, investigation, issue management and reporting.
• Identify and quantify underbilling, overbilling, missed billing, control gaps and process failures across the order-to-cash lifecycle.
• Prioritise activity based on financial materiality, customer impact and risk.
• Drive cross-functional remediation, with clear owners, actions, target dates and escalation paths.
• Provide senior leaders with a forward-looking view of exposure, recovery, remediation progress and emerging risk.
