Job summary

Equinix, the world's digital infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Manager, Billing Assurance in Dallas, to lead a global function aimed at preventing revenue leakage and strengthening controls across the order-to-cash lifecycle.

You will build a distributed team across APAC and EMEA, partner with Reporting & Analytics, and drive measurable value through proactive risk management and data-enabled insights in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in billing assurance, revenue assurance, finance operations, controls, audit, revenue operations or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of order-to-cash, billing operations, financial controls or contract-driven revenue environments.
• A track record of identifying revenue risk or control weaknesses and converting findings into sustained action.
• Experience leading distributed teams and raising capability, consistency and accountability.
• The confidence to influence senior stakeholders and secure action across organisational boundaries.
• Ability to translate complex evidence into clear commercial recommendations.
• Data and AI literacy, with the confidence to sponsor and draw on analytics and AI as an informed business owner, and to partner effectively with specialist analytics and technology teams. You will not build these solutions yourself; this is not a hands‑on data engineering or AI development role.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a distributed Billing Assurance team across APAC and EMEA.
• Build a consistent global operating model for assurance intake, prioritisation, investigation, issue management and reporting.
• Identify and quantify underbilling, overbilling, missed billing, control gaps and process failures across the order-to-cash lifecycle.
• Prioritise activity based on financial materiality, customer impact and risk.
• Drive cross-functional remediation, with clear owners, actions, target dates and escalation paths.
• Provide senior leaders with a forward-looking view of exposure, recovery, remediation progress and emerging risk.
• Own assurance adoption, business outcomes and value realisation.
