Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a remote contractor based out of Oregon to support leave-of-absence and benefits administration across the US and internationally. The role centers on directing US employees to Sparrow for support, triaging inquiries, and owning the inbox while ensuring HIPAA compliance and efficient plan administration.

The position emphasizes strong US leave knowledge, collaboration with Payroll, HRCs, HRPs, and Legal, and regular stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of benefits and leave of absence administration experience.
• Experience with US leave of absence administration and benefits.
• HRIS familiarity (Workday) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact, responding to internal employee and partner team inquiries regarding coverage, claims, and enrollment.
• Coordinate and support external and internal partners.
• Develop and send employee communications regarding any benefit changes or updates.
• Conduct recurring and ad-hoc audits with attention to detail; investigate and solve discrepancies.
• Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient benefit plan administration.
• Coordinate broker/carrier upskilling sessions.
• Billing and invoicing support.
• Maintain digital storage of plan documents and employee resources.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• 401(k) plan administration.
• Internal and external system testing and review, as needed.
