Job summary

Level is seeking a strategic Benefits Manager to own design, administration, and day-to-day management of our benefits programs across the U.S. and internationally. You will ensure employees understand and can use their benefits, supported by a scalable playbook and vendor structure.

You will lead open enrollment, manage brokers and carriers, and partner with Finance and People teams to optimize costs and compliance while delivering a thoughtful, global employee experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience managing employee benefits programs.
• Hands-on experience administering benefits for employees across multiple countries.
• Experience building benefits processes, programs, or playbooks from the ground up.
• Working knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and familiarity with international benefits and statutory requirements.
• Experience running open enrollment and managing broker and vendor relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential employee information.
• Clear, warm communication and service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and document Level’s benefits playbook, including processes, vendor management, compliance calendars, and employee communications.
• Manage Level’s health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and wellness programs for U.S. and international employees.
• Design and administer competitive, compliant benefits for employees in multiple countries, adapting to local requirements and norms.
• Lead annual open enrollment, renewals, vendor negotiations, and enrollment support.
• Serve as primary contact for employees on benefits questions, claims issues, and life events.
• Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, third-party admins, and global benefits partners.
