Job summary

BDA, LLC is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to support the Director, Global Compensation and Benefits in building and maintaining benefit programs domestically and internationally.

This role requires a professional demeanor, confidentiality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will partner with payroll, negotiate with providers, ensure legal compliance, and mentor the HR team while fostering strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a benefits manager or in a related role.
• Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of benefits programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
• Experience managing benefits administration in Workday
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong people and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations related to benefits activities including collaboration with payroll processing across multiple sites in multiple states, and internationally
• Evaluate and modify existing benefits programs, policies, and procedures ensuring equity for all employees
• Develop and implement new benefits programs, policies, and procedures in collaboration with Director, Global Compensation and Benefits
• Ensure all programs, policies, and procedures comply with current legislation.
• Communicate with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues.
• Train and support the human resources team to better understand support programs available to employees
• Work with the Payroll team to ensure accurate time off and benefits tracking & reporting.
• Ensure understanding of all benefits programs (healthcare, voluntary, state leave programs) to maintain compliance and communicate same to eligible employees
• Understand and utilize the Company's internal & external systems to improve communications and processes
• Develop and maintain positive & professional relationships both internally and externally
• Must be adept in the daily tactical details as well as a strategic thought leader.
