Job summary

Mistral is seeking a Benefits Manager to design and scale our global benefits program. You will partner with HR, Finance and Legal to ensure competitive, compliant offerings across multiple countries, and translate complex requirements into employee-centric experiences.

In this role you will manage brokers and vendors, benchmark benefits, drive local adjustments, and maintain data-driven reporting to inform budgeting and strategy as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Experience managing benefits for multi-country organizations during hypergrowth or market entry.
• Deep knowledge of benefits regulations in EU/US with ability to consult experts.
• Proven ability to design, document, and improve scalable benefits processes.
• Strong vendor negotiation and accountability for cost and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Own benefits strategy end-to-end across multiple countries, including enrollment, renewals, changes and offboarding.
• Benchmark market competitiveness and propose local adjustments aligned with Total Rewards.
• Manage brokers, insurers, and benefits vendors; lead RFPs, renewals, and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with local benefits, insurance, and social-security regulations across jurisdictions.
• Design and improve benefits processes and policies to be clear, scalable, and well-documented.
• Leverage data to inform decisions with reporting and KPIs (cost per employee, participation, utilization, satisfaction).
• Own the employee experience of benefits with clear communications during enrollment and life events.
• Collaborate with Finance for budgeting/forecasting and with HR Ops for payroll deductions.
