Job summary

American Foods Group, LLC in Green Bay, WI, seeks an International Sales Representative to support export sales from order through delivery, coordinating pricing, documentation, and compliance for boxed beef and offal products. Travel up to 50% is required.

You will build relationships with international customers and agents, negotiate terms, monitor inventory and pricing, and expand sales into new markets, reporting to the VP of Boxed Beef/International Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in protein sales, with a minimum of 3 years in protein export sales.
• In-depth understanding of commodity market(s), pricing strategies and market dynamics.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in various national and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Establish best possible sales price for beef products and authorize written and verbal purchase agreements with international customers.
• Coordinate with accounting and logistics to ensure documentation, payment terms, and on-time delivery.
• Negotiate with overseas customers and agents to grow export sales and provide pricing/weekly product availability.
• Identify best sales channels for available inventory with VP of Boxed Beef and VP of Grinds oversight.
• Collaborate with export coordinator to ensure documents and labels meet country regulations in the system.
• Expand sales into profitable current and new international markets.
