Job summary

Arnold & Porter is a leading international law firm seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing and business development activities, with a focus on International Arbitration, International Trade, Legislative, and Global Law practices. The role is hybrid and located in Washington, DC or New York.

You will work closely with BD Managers and attorneys to enhance market visibility, coordinate webinars, sponsorships, conferences, and client communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of marketing, business development, or proposal experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
• Experience with legal marketing and proposal processes preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and marketing technologies preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and databases such as Foundation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning through submission.
• Collaborate with attorneys and marketing staff to develop tailored, client-focused materials.
• Identify and refine relevant content to ensure responsiveness and consistency.
• Coordinate research, data, and pricing inputs with internal stakeholders.
• Manage production, assembly, delivery, and recordkeeping of final submissions.
• Conduct follow-up to track outcomes and capture insights.
