Job summary

Arnold & Porter LLP is seeking a Business Development Coordinator in the Marketing Department to support a range of marketing and business development activities, with a primary focus on the International Arbitration, International Trade, Legislative, and Global Law practice groups.

This role works closely with Business Development Managers, attorneys, and other firm professionals to enhance market visibility and strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in marketing, BD, or proposals.
• Experience with legal marketing and proposal processes preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and marketing technologies preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and Foundation preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning through submission.
• Collaborate with attorneys and marketing staff to develop tailored, client-focused materials.
• Coordinate research, data, and pricing inputs with internal stakeholders.
• Manage production, assembly, delivery, and recordkeeping of final submissions.
• Conduct follow-up to track outcomes and capture insights.
• Coordinate logistics for conferences, seminars, and sponsorships; provide on-site/virtual support.
• Maintain and update CRM/experience database; develop contact lists for BD initiatives.
• Edit and produce newsletters and client communications; update marketing collateral.
