Job summary

Arnold & Porter is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support marketing and business development activities with emphasis on International Arbitration, International Trade, Legislative, and Global Law practices. Hybrid work in NY or DC, collaborating with attorneys, BDMs, and staff to enhance visibility and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of marketing, BD, or proposal experience.
• Experience with legal marketing and proposals preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and marketing technologies preferred.
• Experience with CRM systems and databases such as Foundation preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning to submission.
• Collaborate with attorneys and marketing staff to produce client-focused materials.
• Coordinate submissions to directories and rankings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Plan and support in-person and virtual conferences, seminars, and sponsorships.
• Maintain CRM and experience database; build targeted outreach lists.
• Edit and produce newsletters and client communications; update marketing collateral.
