Job summary

xpate is seeking an experienced Banking Partnerships Manager to expand its banking network behind payment and banking channels. You will identify banks, EMIs, PSPs and BaaS providers, build a pipeline, and lead commercial discussions to secure better terms.

You will own relationships from first contact through due diligence, contract and go-live, coordinating with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to move deals forward in fast-paced markets across Europe and the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in payments, banking or fintech, working directly with financial institutions.
• Opened banking or payment partnerships from a cold start.
• Renegotiated live commercial terms and improved them with a solid business case.
• Hands-on experience with SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments or local rails.
• Experience with IBAN, accounts, FX or cross-border payments.
• Built relationships with regulated financial institutions in Europe/UK.
• Able to discuss pricing, volumes, limits, and terms with senior partners.
• Capable of managing multiple partnership tracks end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Map current coverage across markets, currencies, rails and products.
• Build a pipeline of banks, EMIs, PSPs and BaaS providers.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate pricing, fees and FX.
• Own relationships from first call through due diligence and go-live.
• Drive onboarding with Compliance, Legal, Tech and Operations.
• Maintain momentum across several partner conversations in parallel.
