Job summary

Uber is seeking a Program Leader to modernize and scale Remote Assistance operations across a global partner network. You will build and lead high-performing teams, set strategic direction, and drive execution across labor, infrastructure, and vendor ecosystems.

This role demands autonomy, rapid iteration, and the ability to translate signals into a clear roadmap. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business leaders to shape the operating model and governance, balancing

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program or operations management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Direct experience managing vendors/BPO partners—sourcing, contracting, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Stand Up and Lead Global Operations: Launch RA Operations for new AV partners on their own tooling and in their own markets, owning labor, infrastructure and tech readiness and building scalable playbooks.
• Own the Vendor Ecosystem: Run selection, onboarding and lifecycle management for RA staffing and operations partners, set the performance bar and enforce it through SLAs, business reviews, and corrective action and own compliance against contractual and regulatory requirements market by market.
• Drive the Product: Serve as the operations counterpart to the teams developing tooling, driving continuous improvement of the integration layer that connects our systems into AV partner platforms and converting field signals into a prioritized roadmap you help design.
• Lead Across the Organization: Align AV partners, internal teams, and vendors with genuinely competing priorities on scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs, manage the risk without heavy oversight, and land status, risk, and decisions cleanly with audiences from frontline vendor ops to executive leadership.
