Job summary

ABB is seeking a Global Application Specialist to develop applications for critical power and building electrification in North America. You will collect end-user demands, develop internal resources, and promote innovative solutions for data centers.

Responsibilities include application development, training, and supporting testing and validation. Role requires a bachelor's in engineering, strong English, and experience with electrical distribution and NEC codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
Experience with electrical distribution and critical power systems.
Ability to read, understand and design electrical diagrams.
Experience with NEC codes and electrical design standards is a plus.
Fluent English, strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Collect the demands of US-based end users for development of new solutions and products.
Develop resources inside ABB focused on these developments to increase participation in the data center market.
Develop applications, including training, value proposition, and communication materials.
Support test and validation of applications.
Provide feedback to Product management on new development needs.
