Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development, with ownership of an API or platform.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools and workflows.
• Strong full-stack experience: backend + frontend SPA framework.
• Solid experience with relational databases and ERD design.
• Proactive communication across multiple teams.
• Track record of realistic estimation and on-time delivery.
• CS/Math/Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on background.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global API and unified platform powering multiple products.
• Lead and mentor a small engineering team; balance code with people management.
• Stay hands-on; ship real code, not just reviews.
• Drive daily use of agentic AI development tools across the team.
• Produce ERDs, swim-lane diagrams, and API flow docs for visibility.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to align roadmaps.
• Estimate realistically, flag risks early, deliver commitments.
• Manage scheduling, time off, performance conversations, and related duties.
• Recommend headcount, tooling, and process improvements to leadership.
• Serve as the point of contact on API impact when others ask.
