Job summary

SHI International Corp. in the United States seeks a Product Owner – API Platform to define the vision, roadmap, and backlog for its API Platform ecosystem, including API Management, Developer Portal, and governance capabilities.

This role reports to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office location or a hybrid basis. You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering to translate needs into prioritized features, define investments, and lead backlog refinement and KPI tracking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst.
• Experience managing technology platforms, digital products, or enterprise integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for SHI’s API Platform, API Management, Developer Portal, and API governance capabilities.
• Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into prioritized product features and user stories.
• Define and prioritize product investments that improve API adoption, developer experience, and platform scalability.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria definition, and release prioritization activities.
• Establish, monitor, and measure KPIs related to platform adoption, API consumption, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate alignment across business, engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of product roadmap initiatives.
• Serve as the primary decision-maker for product priorities and tradeoff discussions.
• Communicate roadmap progress, business value, risks, and strategic priorities to leadership and key stakeholders.
