Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead global P2P operations, directing a five-person US team while governing an offshore AP team in India. The role emphasizes strong leadership, offshore governance, and expert 3-way matching in a manufacturing ERP environment.

You will optimize processing workflows, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with Treasury to forecast cash flow, leveraging OCR and digital invoicing to improve speed and accuracy across time zones.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
2+ years managing hybrid onshore/offshore teams (India).
Manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume supply chain exposure preferred.
Advanced 3-way matching in an ERP (PO, receiving, invoice).
Experience with automated invoicing/OCR and digital workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day AP operations across global delivery model (US team of 5 + offshore India).
Establish SOPs, QC audits, and KPIs for offshore processing.
Lead daily/weekly syncs with offshore leads to resolve bottlenecks and manage handoffs across time zones.
Mentor US-based staff to focus on strategic tasks and complex reconciliations.
Oversee 3-way matching across local and offshore teams; resolve discrepancies in pricing/quantities.
Manage high-volume payment runs (ACH, wire, check, corporate card) and 1099/W-9 compliance.
Lead monthly AP close with accurate sub-ledger to GL reconciliations.
Monitor offshore output for US GAAP and internal controls.
