Circet USA is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead a team in India, developing processes and ensuring accurate disbursements and payables. The role focuses on policy adoption, training, and strong controls across the AP function.

The ideal candidate will have extensive AP experience, be able to interact with executive management, and drive efficiency through process improvements while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years leading an AP team.
• Ability to communicate with executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Solid understanding of the financial cycle and month-end close process.
• Experience with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts payable activities and team performance.
• Develop processing policies and desktop routines for AP operations.
• Train and develop staff to maximize productivity and accuracy.
• Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and employee expenses; maintain control reports.
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage month-end accruals and 1099 statements.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure policy compliance and process improvements.
• Maintain vendor files and manage unclaimed property reporting and remittance.
• Support weekly cash flow forecasting based on historical data and due dates.
