Job summary

SUSE is seeking a Global Alliance Director to lead the 30+ year partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). You will shape the worldwide alliance strategy and drive joint sales plays across geographies, products, and channels, including HPE’s AI factory solutions, virtualization, and HPC.

You will coordinate field teams, manage MDF budgets, align compensation and incentives, and ensure smooth commercial processes while traveling up to 30% globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure software or channel leadership.
• Deep familiarity with HPE ecosystem and partner programs.
• Experience managing Market Development Funds and global funded headcount.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the global alliance strategy with HPE.
• Design and implement joint GTM plays across regions and sales teams.
• Manage MDF budget and global funded headcount resources for SUSE/HPE.
• Lead negotiation and modernization of complex frame agreements and contracts.
• Coordinate regional sales leadership and enablement for joint opportunities.
