Job summary

SUSE is seeking a seasoned Global Alliance Director to lead the Hewlett Packard Enterprise partnership. You will shape the global alliance strategy, drive joint sales plays, and optimize a large MDF program with a distributed team, aligning SUSE and HPE across regions.

You will engage executive audiences, negotiate complex contracts, and collaborate with engineering to align AI, Kubernetes, and HPC initiatives with HPE's strategy. Willingness to travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

10+ years in the enterprise infrastructure software industry with global alliance/partnership leadership experience.
Strong familiarity with the HPE ecosystem and partner programs.
Proven track record managing multi-million dollar MDF budgets and globally distributed funded headcount.
Exceptional presentation and training skills for executive audiences and global sales teams.

Responsibilities

Own, develop, and drive SUSE's global alliance strategy with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE).
Design and drive joint sales plays to accelerate sell-with and sell-through revenue.
Manage MDF budgets and global funded-headcount resources for maximum ROI.
Lead negotiations and management of complex frame contracts and alliance agreements.
Align SUSE sales leadership with regional teams and enablement efforts on joint sales plays.
Demonstrate fluency in AI infrastructure, Kubernetes, virtualization, and HPC to engage HPE engineering teams.
