Job summary

IonQ is seeking a Global Alliances Lead to manage a select portfolio of lighthouse advisory and consulting partners, owning worldwide relationships and joint business plans. You will focus on executive sponsorship, shared customer pursuits, and measurable outcomes across IonQ’s compute, networking, security, sensing, and space offerings.

The role requires building capabilities through workshops, joint opportunities, and evidence-based playbooks, while collaborating with regional leads to scale

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic alliances with advisory/consulting firms or similar.
• Proven track record turning partnerships into scalable revenue channels.
• Commercial expertise in frontier technologies or emerging tech categories.

Responsibilities

• Select priority advisory/consulting firms and define global joint plans with clear priorities and milestones.
• Engage partner leaders and account teams in discovery, opportunity qualification, and co-selling across quantum computing and cyber security.
• Own global-regional pursuit plans, map accounts, and coordinate regional execution with sales leads.
• Lead alliance governance, joint investments, and publish reusable playbooks and go-to-market approaches.
