Job summary

IonQ is seeking a Global Alliances Lead to develop a selective portfolio of lighthouse advisory and consulting partners such as McKinsey, BCG, Accenture and EY. The role owns the worldwide relationship and joint business plan, focusing on executive commitment and measurable outcomes across the full portfolio.

You will collaborate with IonQ technical specialists and regional partners to co-sell quantum solutions, drive joint engagements, and scale partnerships globally through governance,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategic alliances with advisory or consulting firms.
• Proven track record turning partnerships into scalable channels.
• Experience in frontier technologies or emerging tech categories.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to operate globally and travel.

Responsibilities

• Own global joint plans with explicit industry and regional priorities, shared customer targets, and milestones.
• Engage partner practice leaders and account teams in discovery, qualification and business-case development.
• Develop lighthouse engagements and joint workshops with go-to-market playbooks.
• Collaborate with regional leads to activate alliances locally and scale globally.
• Provide governance for pipelines, forecasts, and repeatable commercial approaches.
