Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor in Maryland to oversee a maintenance shop for rotary and fixed-wing aircraft under RDT&E programs. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with military standards, and efficient scheduling of personnel and tasks.

You will lead training on PPE, coordinate materials, and ensure all staff are trained on current procedures. A DoD Secret clearance is required, with six years of relevant experience and familiarity with programs like

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Associate's degree or trade license preferred.
• Six (6) years of experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of specific aircraft maintenance practices (F/A-18F, T-38, T-6, AT-6, NU-1B, U-6, X-26).
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a shop or group with day-to-day maintenance tasks on assigned aircraft and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 and safety procedures.
• Coordinate and assign work, ensuring training and PPE usage.
• Identify tooling needs and manage materials for daily tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and training to reports; may lead two or more individuals.
