Job summary

V2X is seeking a skilled aircraft maintenance technician to uphold rigorous standards on Navy and government contracts. You will perform maintenance, read schematics, and operate ground support equipment, ensuring compliance with FOD and tool control programs.

The role requires a minimum of three years in a similar field, English proficiency, and the ability to meet licensing requirements. Occasional off-site work and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to obtain DoD CAC within 6 months of start.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance or equivalent.
• Familiarity with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, and schematics.
• Must meet government/company licensing/qualification requirements.
• Reading, writing, speaking English required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
• Follow Company Tool Control Program.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations for contract, facilities, and job.
• Operate and use special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment.
• Maintain records of work performed (MAF/OOMA).
• May perform off-site service at detachments as required.
• Assist with ordering parts, tools, and materials.
• Maintain aircraft per Navy, Manufacturer, and Company Instructions.
• Review blueprints/schematics and apply instructions.
• May travel as required.
