Openwork in Houston, TX is seeking an Air Import Coordinator to manage air import shipments from origin to destination, ensuring compliance and timely delivery. You will coordinate with airlines, customs brokers, and internal teams, maintaining documentation and providing updates to clients.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of import/export experience focused on air freight, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with import documentation and logistics software.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of import/export experience, with a strong emphasis on air freight operations.
• Hands-on experience coordinating air import shipments.
• Knowledge of customs regulations, compliance standards, and import documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee the movement of international air import shipments from origin to destination.
• Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and import documentation requirements.
• Prepare, review, and process essential documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
• Communicate effectively with airlines, customs brokers, and other logistics partners to facilitate on-time delivery.
• Track and monitor shipment progress, resolving delays or issues as they arise to maintain service excellence.
• Keep customers informed about shipment status, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate import records and update internal systems with shipment information and compliance data.
