People Freight | Freight Forwarding & Logistics Recruitment Specialists in Houston, TX seeks an Air Export Coordinator to manage international air export shipments from booking to departure and handover. You will work with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and carriers to ensure accurate documentation and on-schedule cargo movement.

Qualifications

• Experience in air export operations within a U.S. freight forwarding environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced setting with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end air export shipments from booking through departure and destination handover.
• Arrange airline bookings and coordinate cargo collection and delivery requirements.
• Prepare and review export documentation, including AWBs, invoices, and packing lists.
• Coordinate with overseas agents, customers, airlines, and trucking providers for smooth execution.
• Monitor milestones and provide timely updates to customers and partners.
• Complete AES/EEI filings and verify export documentation as required.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in the forwarding software.
• Resolve delays and documentation discrepancies, and address operational issues.
• Coordinate with warehouses and ground transport to ensure cargo readiness for handover.
• Review shipment costs, assist with billing, and ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas partners.
