Job summary

Adcom Worldwide in Sacramento, CA is seeking an International Operations specialist to manage time-sensitive international air freight shipments from origin to destination. You will prepare export/import documents, coordinate with overseas partners, and ensure compliance with regulations, TSA, and customs requirements.

The role requires sharp attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in international air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations, Incoterms, and customs compliance procedures.
• Familiarity with freight management systems and carrier portals.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with global partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• IATA or Customs Broker license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage international air freight shipments from origin to destination
• Prepare and process export/import documentation including airway bills, commercial invoices, and customs entries
• Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, and carriers to ensure timely movement of cargo
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, exceptions, or compliance issues
• Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, customs compliance, and TSA security requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering accurate shipment updates and solutions
• Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of inbound and outbound freight
