Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in the USA seeks a Freight Forwarder, Air Export, Gateway to manage and coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, from booking cargo space to documentation and delivery to international destinations.

You will liaise with carriers, ensure compliance, prepare export documents, and provide clients with timely status updates. Requires 2–3 years in air export and knowledge of CargoWise or CHAMP.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of air freight operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, including booking cargo space and arranging pickups.
• Prepare export documentation (air waybills, invoices, packing lists) accurately.
• Monitor shipments and provide clients with status updates and transit information.
• Liaise with carriers, brokers, and service providers to resolve operational issues.
• Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers to optimize service quality and cost.
