Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Export at the Gateway in the USA. The role oversees the export process from booking cargo space to preparing documentation and ensuring on-time delivery to international destinations.

You will coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers, maintain accurate shipment data in CargoWise/CHAMP, and provide proactive updates to clients while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics, with specific experience in air freight preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, including booking cargo space and coordinating with carriers and airlines.
Prepare export documentation (air waybills, invoices, packing lists) accurately and efficiently.
Facilitate customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with export regulations.
Monitor shipment movement and provide status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Liaise with carriers, brokers, and service providers to resolve operational issues and optimize service quality.
