Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics, with air freight experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of air freight operations, international trade regulations, and customs procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with freight forwarding software and systems such as CargoWise or CHAMP.

Responsibilities

Coordinate air export shipments from the gateway facility, including booking cargo space and arranging pickups with carriers.
Prepare export documentation such as air waybills, invoices, packing lists, and licenses.
Ensure compliance with export regulations and facilitate customs clearance.
Liaise with freight carriers, brokers, and service providers to resolve issues.
Monitor shipment movement and provide status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Negotiate rates and terms to optimize service quality and cost-efficiency.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in air export operations.
