Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Freight Forwarder for Air Export Gateway to manage the export process from gateway to destination airports. You will book cargo space, prepare documentation, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field and 2–3 years in air export or international logistics. Proficiency with CargoWise or CHAMP Cargosystems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, air export operations, or international logistics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air export shipments from gateway facility, including booking cargo space and coordinating with carriers.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and document requirements.
• Prepare export documents: air waybills, invoices, packing lists, licenses.
• Verify documentation accuracy for customs clearance and cargo acceptance.
• Facilitate customs clearance and file export declarations.
• Monitor shipment movement to destination airport and provide status updates.
• Address delays and issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Serve as primary client contact for shipment updates and requirements.
• Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and service providers to resolve issues.
• Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers to optimize service and cost.
• Ensure data/document integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct quality checks on packaging and labeling.
