Job summary

Reachdesk is seeking an exceptional Accounting Manager in New York to own the accounting function from monthly close through consolidated US GAAP financials, audits, and controls. Reporting to the CFO, you will build a high-performing international team and drive process improvements across the finance stack.

You'll work with NetSuite and SuiteBilling in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment, delivering accurate reporting and scalable automation across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on accounting background with multi-entity exposure.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606 and principal versus agent judgments.
• Experience leading multi-entity, multi-currency close and consolidations with intercompany usage.
• Ability to research accounting positions, assess broader implications, and communicate recommendations clearly.
• Proven ability to partner across functions and drive complex work to completion.
• People leadership: set expectations, develop the team, and build capability.
• Experience operating internal controls in an audited environment.
• Hands-on ERP experience, ideally NetSuite with automation focus.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable in a fast-moving international business.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and US GAAP consolidation across six entities.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity with proper reconciliations and reviews.
• Lead technical accounting analysis across revenue recognition, principal vs agent, wallet balances, and breakage.
• Lead group and UK statutory audits from planning to sign-off.
• Own and improve internal controls, including prepaid wallet funds and segregation of duties.
• Manage statutory accounts and tax compliance with external advisers.
• Collaborate with leaders on projects requiring Finance input and drive work to completion.
• Improve accounting processes and automation across NetSuite and integrations.
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage the international accounting team.
