Wiz in New York City seeks an experienced Manager, Accounting to lead and mentor the global accounting team. You will own month-end and year-end closes across entities, drive US GAAP consolidations, and implement SOX-ready controls to scale growth.

You will review entries and complex accruals, build robust policies, and ensure audit-ready documentation while partnering with auditors and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for global entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead US GAAP consolidations and drive scalable closing processes.
• Design and maintain internal accounting policies and SOX-ready controls.
• Direct, mentor, and develop the accounting team, prioritizing work and ensuring high execution standards.
• Prepare tax reports and regulatory filings for US and Canada entities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants during audits.
• Collaborate across departments to align financial processes with business goals.
