Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Global Account Executive in Pleasanton, CA to generate new business and grow existing accounts across service and installation solutions. You will target multi-vertical clients, develop strategic plans, and drive revenue while upholding Convergint's values and culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years account development, sales, or related experience
• 3+ years in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Associate’s degree preferred; higher education a plus

Responsibilities

• Sells core business integrated solutions for service and installation projects.
• Evaluates and targets potential customer opportunities within the market.
• Develops and implements sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple vertical markets.
• Focuses on consultants, owners and building managers with contractor support to develop new business clientele.
• Translates a wide variety of customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans to meet requirements; reviews costs prior to bid; assists with change proposals and collections.
• Proactively communicates project requirements to project team and client as required.
• Identifies project risks and develops strategies to minimize impact and control costs and deadlines.
• Communicates project schedules and changes with customer to improve satisfaction.
• Manages scope of work, terms, costs, delivery, and quality of service in contracts.
• May coach and mentor colleagues; performs other duties as required.
