Trove Brands, LLC. in Lehi, Utah, is seeking a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our in-office finance team. You will support general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, payroll reporting, and month-end close, while upholding GAAP and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications include 1–2 years in accounting, a BA in accounting, strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of general accounting, finance, or related business experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• SQL knowledge is preferred.
• Confident working with internal and external customers.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts for general ledger.
• Support treasury activities including bank reconciliations and cash receipts/disbursements.
• Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and related reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll accounting and headcount-related reporting.
• Assist month-end close with schedules, reconciliations, and supporting entries.
• Maintain accurate records, respond to audit requests, and help improve processes.

Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning. Your specific responsibilities as a part of Team Trove will include:

• Maintain assigned general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries and reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and resolving open items.
• Support treasury activities through bank reconciliations, payment preparation, and review of cash receipts and disbursements.
• Manage fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting, including schedules, depreciation or amortization, and related reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll accounting and related headcount, wage, and expense reporting.
• Serve as a key contributor to month-end close by completing assigned procedures, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting entries.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and payment information, support audit requests, and help improve accounting processes and control

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of general accounting, finance, or related business experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, required
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions (VLOOKUP, IF, etc.), pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors)
• Experience with ERP systems, preferred
• SQL knowledge, preferred
• Confident working with internal and external customers
• Working knowledge of GAAP
